2 Sartudays ago, the weather was sunny and bright in Brockton. I had tried to wake up early to begin my weekend chores before the kids woke up. I was so engrossed I forgot to do my morning workout before they woke up. DH was still having his extended sleep and I so wanted to go for my walk. The munchkins were awake and wanted to play.
One one hand, I wanted my morning walk. On the other hand, the kids wanted mummy to keep them engaged. I had no double stroller but still wanted to go outdoors with them for at least half an hour. What did I do? I strapped my little boy on my back (think of African style Baby Bjorn with only a long piece of cloth). I then strapped his sister on her toddler stroller and we all went on a morning walk, humming Sesame street tunes.
It was fun! What made it more exciting was the look on the faces of passers-by. A kid strapped on the back with a cloth, and another one strapped to a stroller. We came back home, and my son was fast asleep for another 2 hours. I got my walk and put my son back to sleep in the process. :)
